Exceptional, exceptional, exceptional
I was blown away by the stunning scenery right from my cosy Double Room! The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever seen, offering both hearty cooked options and delightful continental treats. Plus, the unique on-site brewery with its delicious craft beers, like the Sycamore Gap pale ale, made my stay feel special and local!
Totally recommend! 🥰🍻

Just a decent option for a flash stay in Bardon Mill with incredible value for money. The staff were great and helpful during our stay. Try to avoid rooms near the kitchen to skip the noise.

Had a great time with friends exploring the beer garden and enjoying the guided tour of the Brew House. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were super friendly. Perfect for kids to play around while we relaxed.
We did have a bit of an issue with traffic noise from our room, which could be distracting for light sleepers.

The Twice Brewed is a gem! Their smoked meats will have you dreaming long after, and the cooked English breakfast was a top-tier start to the day. The atmosphere around the bar was buzzing, with locals sharing tales over pints of their house ale. Plus, the location near Hadrian's Wall makes it a perfect base for exploration!
Though we had a lovely evening, the waiting staff left a bit to be desired. it took longer than it should have to get the bill.

missingWrote a review on 31 Mayfantastic locationdelicious foodfriendly stafftiny roomrude waitstaffsubpar pie
The location is fantastic, right next to Hadrian's Wall. My room was cozy but tiny. I felt cramped with the double bed pushed against the wall. The bathroom was bigger than expected but had steps down, which was a bit awkward. I really enjoyed the evening meal at the pub. the steak was tender and flavorful. my partner's pie fell short. it lacked flavor and consistency. Service during breakfast wasn’t great. The staff seemed overwhelmed and rude when we chose a seat. Only one other couple occupied the restaurant, yet we were chastised for sitting at the table we liked. The friendly lady in the brewery shop lifted my spirits, though! the food hit the mark, but the waiting staff could use better training.
